Her career has been distinguished by her expertise in sales management and her exceptional ability to build and maintain high-value client relationships. Ms. Tamura has been a driving force behind the establishment and expansion of the Israel-focused investment arm, guiding its strategic direction and fostering growth. Her role involves overseeing investment strategies that align with the needs of both Japanese and Israeli markets. As a General Partner of Japan Israel High Tech Ventures 1 & 2, Ms. Tamura is integral in sourcing and developing high-impact investment opportunities in cutting-edge technologies. Before joining our team, Mr. Nakayama was elected to the House of Representatives five times, belonging to the Liberal Democratic Party. During his tenure, in government service he assumed many important positions including State Minister for Foreign Affairs, State Minister of Defense and State Minister of Cabinet Office, and in the legislative body of the House of Representatives, he was assigned to various posts of significant responsibilities such as Chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives. Starting from November 2021, he took on the position of Special Assistant of Policy Research Council of the Liberal Democratic Party.

Mr. Miyashita commenced his tenure with Chartered in July 2021, undertaking the role of Business Development. Prior to joining Chartered, he accumulated extensive experience at several investment management firms, specializing in both alternative and traditional assets, with a focus on institutional investors. His career began at The Industrial Bank of Japan, Ltd. (now Mizuho Bank), where he held various positions over 27 years, including roles in corporate and real estate banking, international finance at the Bangkok Branch, and bond trading. Additionally, Mr. Miyashita served as a manager for one of the largest government public funds, overseeing the administration of assets totaling JPY 8 trillion. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Hitotsubashi University and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is proficient in both Japanese and English.

Mr. Matsui oversees the management of middle office functions for the firm's venture capital funds and other financial products. His career in finance began at CS First Boston in 1992. With approximately 30 years of experience in the financial industry, he has specialized primarily in the fund management and asset management sectors. Since joining Chartered Group in January 2023, he has focused on product administration and development. Prior to this role, he accumulated around 20 years of experience in the fund business, having held positions at Amundi, BNY Mellon Investment, and Schroders, where he was involved in product and intermediary sales. Mr. Matsui graduated from Keio University and earned an Executive MBA from Temple University. He holds CMA of Japan and he is proficient in both Japanese and English.

Ido Tutnauer leads strategic partnerships at Chartered Technology Ventures. He graduated from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem with a double major in Business Administration and Japanese Studies and was awarded the MEXT scholarship at Doshisha University, where he conducted research on business relations between Israeli and Japanese companies. Formerly a business development manager at Shizen Energy where he forged relationships with Israeli startups innovating in the field of renewable energy. Ido enjoys running, basketball, and exploring Japanese culture and is proud to have visited all of Japan’s 47 prefectures.
